With 16 years in the industry and serving Seattle since 2011, Matthew brings warmth, intention, and artistry to every appointment. He also briefly worked in Anacortes and owns a small salon in his hometown of Neah Bay.

Styling is Matthew’s favorite part of the salon experience, and he’s especially known for organic, lived-in hair and working with thick, long hair. As a certified Kevin Murphy Session Stylist and Gold Key Certified professional, his styling aesthetic aligns with brands like Davines and Kevin Murphy.

Matthew’s philosophy? Be a daymaker. He loves pampering his clients and making them seen, heard, and empowered when they leave his chair.

He especially loves working with mothers, who originally inspired him to become a hairstylist. His energy is uplifting and positive — and he believes every day is a great day for a blowout.

Outside of the salon, Matthew loves cooking and learning his Indigenous language. His coffee order? A quad shot over extra ice — what he calls an “emotional support iced coffee.”
